用來表示「說」的英文單字有很多個，包括「speak」、「say」、「tell」。但你知道在不同的情況下，該如何使用這三個不同的單字嗎？

1. Speak
(1) speak + language 說某種語言
e.g. Do you speak Japanese? 你會說日文嗎？
(2) speaks to me = meaningful 有意義的
e.g. This lesson really speaks to me. = This lesson is meaningful to me.
這堂課對我而言獲益良多。
2. Say
(1) 在文章中引述他人的話語
e.g. The prime minister says, “….” 首相說：「……」
(2) 陳述某件事情
e.g. What did he say? 他說了什麼？
3. Tell
(1) command命令
e.g. Tell me what you think. 告訴我你在想什麼。
(2) give information 給予資訊
e.g. I told you that I will go to the museum tomorrow. 我跟你說過我明天會去博物館。
